Cave from Candoglia to Milan Cathedral

Discover the history of the Cathedral of Milan through the visit of the mother quarry which in 1386 gave birth to the Gothic monument symbol of the Lombard city. The journey along the great canals retraces the same path of barges transporting marble into the city center. The visit of the cathedral will have a completely different charm.

1st day: 7:45 – km 70. Departure Locarno, Verbania, Ornavasso, Feriolo, Angera, Panperduto
2st day: 8:30 – km 62. Visit tour to Parco/Chiuse Departure to Abbiategrasso, Porta Ticinese
3st day: 9:30. Visit tour to Duomo, Vecchia darsena, visit of City, back to Ticino

The bicycle trip to Milan is done in total autonomy, without car assistance. The composition of the baggage is very important to be able to ride comfortably and move so easily on public transport.

1 bag hanging in front of Max. 30 lt (included) underwear, socks, cycling shirts, shorts (1 padded bike and 1 evening), T-shirts for the evening. + 1 pajamas, 1 pair of shoes, 1 swimsuit, 1 lightweight fleece sweater, 1 raincoat, 1 pair of rain covers for shoes, 1 pair of biking gloves, sun cream, disinfectant, anti mosquito repellent, detergent for hand washing, 1 helmet, sunglasses, 1 bottle. + bags for vacuum space saving. (to maximize space and to protect the clothing from the water)
